My daughter began the program in 2008. Like any new experience for a child, it was exciting for Devyn, and she could not wait to attend each day. It began as a means for my daughter to learn a new skill; however, we never imagined gaining as much as we have from the program. Three years later, my daughter has achieved her First Degree Black Belt, and our family has achieved a connection with a magnificent organization we now call our "extended family." The Cabrera's "believe" in every child that walks through their doors. Moreover, the Cabrera's take the time to get to know every child's weaknesses and strengths, and empower each to accomplish their goals leading to mastery. As adults, we strive to obtain the same. The Cabrera's see the personal best in each child AND adult. Sidekick's is not just a business to the Cabrera's; it is a means to share their knowledge, skills, and passion for the arts with others, through their unconditional positive regard toward others.
